Delayed Payments Report 3.0 — The Case for Strengthening TReDS

Delayed Payments Report 3.0 provides a detailed examination of the payment delays faced by MSMEs in India and the potential of digital frameworks like TReDS to improve transparency, reduce friction, and unlock faster access to working capital.

Launched by the Dr. V. Ananth Nageswaran, Chief Economic Advisor to the GoI, the report highlights the critical role of:

  • Greater participation from corporates, PSUs, and financiers
  • Integrating TReDS with digital public infrastructure (GSTN, e-Invoicing, GeM)
